Comes in a beautiful, lightweight 4-panel eco wallet. The album art is based on a piece by Misha Blaise, in which her piece features the Bird of Glory calligraphy originally by Mishkin Qalam. (full art featured on the inside right panel of album).
Sonny Sachs and I took this art and developed the complete album art from it. Horizontal segments are used on the front and back covers, and the entire piece is displayed on the inside.

The inside left panel displays liner notes containing featured guest vocalists and bassist names, and the Baha'i Writing in full which the song lyrics are taken from.

about

The lyrics are taken from the Hidden Words of Baha'u'llah, which is a book of 95 mystical writings - poetry - that contain the essence of all spiritual teachings of religions of the past. That is big and heavy. The meanings in these verses are many, but I will offer mine: it is about detachment and allowing yourself to not be filled yourself, to allow room for the greater love.

I tried to blend persian classical sounds with folk guitar and as passionate viola playing as I could conjure. Hope you enjoy.

lyrics

"O SON OF MAN! If thou lovest Me, turn away from thyself; and if thou seekest My pleasure, regard not thine own; that thou mayest die in Me and I may eternally live in thee." - Baha'u'llah, from the Hidden Words.
